Development

“How do we get more out of this employee’s performance?”

“How can we insure our best employees will be ready to assume leadership positions when called upon to do so?”

“We just promoted this person. How do we get the most out of her performance?”

While many clients use our services to help them hire people into their organization, the same objective Assessment Neutral -- Content CustomTM data-based approach can be used to help uniformly develop employees for future roles. Unlike generic leadership development solutions, we work with our clients to define “leadership towards what ends” in order to efficiently, effectively, and directly develop those characteristics that are needed for future success in the organization. Some noted projects completed by our Carr consultants include:

  • Assess the top 40 leaders in an organization against the company’s specific competency model. Assessment results provided specific feedback concerning likely performance across all 12 dimensions and the results were tied to a customized training program specifically designed for each participant to address their most salient 3-4 development needs.
  • Work with one of the largest food and beverage organizations in the world to create assessment and development services for their top 50 world-wide “hi-potentials”. The assessment, feedback, and reporting process was the cornerstone of all activities associated with a week-long development program lead by the company’s CEO.
  • Create the assessment and feedback process for the top 2,000 leaders in one of the top 3 telecommunications companies in the world. The project has been ongoing for over 14 years and has endured through three leadership changes.

In the confusing world of leadership development, Carr & Associates is unique in that we employ only licensed psychologists to perform our leadership development initiatives – in other words, professionals who have been trained in the appropriate and most consistent ways to develop others.

Our development programs statistically and significantly improve both the speed and amount of participant development.
